Bio

Sorlyz earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia.  She graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has a background in behavioral analysis as a registered behavioral technician. Her experience has been with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and other diagnoses.

She is passionate about providing a voice and service to the lives of Spanish-speaking persons in need of mental health services. As a bilingual counselor, Sorlyz works with people of all ages that are victims of crimes, witnesses to crimes, domestic violence, and sex crimes. She also works with individuals that display symptoms of other mental health disorders.
