S.H.A.P.E. SOLUTIONS also provides customized Inclusivity Training devoted to equipping businesses, organizations, first responders and faith-based organizations with the knowledge to understand and incorporate the unique strengths and abilities of individuals with intellectual or cognitive disabilities in the workplace    Our approach is unique in that we provide all of our services utilizing behavior analytics to assist individuals in all of their needs.

Carolyn Young

Managing Director

Carolyn Young comes from a forty-year career in Education and has worked with the autism community for the past eight years.  Carolyn has a proven record of developing partnerships with diversity-focused organizations and has a wealth of knowledge and experiences providing resources within the special needs community.

 

She was instrumental in establishing and managing relationships between individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, medical professionals, insurance companies, faith-based organizations, as well as Laurel Community College and Prince George Community College. Carolyn has also successfully developed platforms for community awareness, and advocacy for the special needs community.

Sorlyz Pagan

DA/IMC

Mental Health Coordinator

Sorlyz earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is on track to become a Licensed Counselor (LGPC).  She graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has a background in behavioral analysis as a registered behavioral technician. Her experience has been with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and other diagnoses. She is passionate about providing a voice and service to the lives of Spanish-speaking persons in need of mental health services. As a bilingual counselor,

 

Sorlyz works with people of all ages that are victims of crimes, witnesses to crimes, domestic violence, and sex crimes. She also works with individuals that display symptoms of other mental health disorders.

Keirsten Greggs

Employment Support Specialist

Upon earning her Masters in Management/Human Resources,  Keirsten has a proven record of developing relationships and partnering with diversity focused organizations. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience constructing effective talent acquisition and branding strategies aimed at attracting, hiring, and retaining the most talented professionals who are the best reflection of the communities in which they work.

 

Keirsten understands that her job doesn’t stop at attracting and hiring talent and believes organizations must be deliberate and intentional in retaining talent by fostering an inclusive culture and being an active participant in their development.

Ashley Pullum

MS, BCBA, LBA 

Consulting BCBA

Ashley Pullum is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as a certified special education teacher. She has worked with individuals from toddlers to adult age. She has a passion for working with families and advocating for their needs, and the needs of their children. Ashley holds a Bachelor's of Art in History, Masters of Science in Education and a post master's certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.

 

She has an exceptional record of success in program management and instruction. Ashley has seven years of experience in the applied behavioral analysis field. She is adept at preparing goal oriented plans and behavior intervention strategies. Ashley is skilled at evaluating individuals’ needs and formulating effective behavior change recommendations.

Danee Brumfield

Training Specialist

Danee is a Registered Behavior Technician and is a highly enthusiastic young professional with a passion for education and training! Danee holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Southern University A & M College and has completed Behavior Analytic specific coursework at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She is currently pursuing her BCaBA certification; and will then move on to become a BCBA.

 

Over the course of 6 years, she has also been performing the roles of talent acquisition, training interventionist, co-instructor of a clinical internship, assistant programmer. She has trained fellow technicians and teachers in schools, clinics, and in-home settings.

Jada Tucker

M.Ed, BCBA, LBA

Consulting BCBA

Jada is a motivated BCBA who began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2009 at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD on the Neuro-behavioral Unit. Since then, she developed a thirst for learning and practicing ABA. She received her Master of Education Degree, along with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University.

Jada is also very interested in parent and staff training with interventions in the home setting, and has conducted research studies in this setting with this population. In addition, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies in Applied Behavior Analysis in hopes to conduct and publish further research on improving training for home-based interventions.
